Weekly Competition Result – Tuesday, 14th May 2024

The result of this week’s Medal competition is available here and on Master Scoreboard.

38 players

Many members opted not to play because of the early rain and the forecast of more of the same. However, it didn’t turn out quite as bad as expected and the course remained very playable (and greens unaffected by water) … as can be seen from the scores returned by several players.

Congratulations to Kelvin Day for his winning score of Nett 45, just pipping Richard Juby on countback over the last nine holes.

Well done also to John Greenwood for winning this month’s Nearest The Pin prize.

The new system of paying prize winnings to Levy Cards started from April 2024

Good luck to all participants.

Please submit your results on Master Scoreboard (via “Scores Entry”) and update the sheet on the noticeboard.

Please ensure your matches are played within the allocated timescales … best to plan to play early in the round, thus leaving room for unforseen circumstances (bad weather etc).
