In the event of a draw the cup holders retain the cup for another year.

Congratulations to the Blue Team for their fourth win in a row in this year’s Ryder Cup event held on Thursday, 20^th July 2023.

The final result was Blue Team 12 ½ points : Red Team 5 ½ points. The morning Pairs was even at 3 points for each team, but the Blue Team dominated the afternoon singles with 9 ½ points to 5 ½ points.

The morning Nearest The Pin (sponsored by Irene Mitchell) was won by Richard Taylor.
The afternoon Nearest The Pin (sponsored by Lee Thompson) was won by Ron Coles.

Many thanks to all players for playing the event in such great spirit.

Event Stats: Played in all 14 times: 8 RED wins, 4 Blue wins, 2 Draws.

HOWEVER … Since Ron Coles took over as Captain in 2014 – Played 10 times: 4 Red wins, 4 Blue wins, 2 Draws. Next year’s event therefore has a special significance from Ron’s perspective.
